I sent one yesterday about the email booking alerts i didn’t receive. The thing is, I DID receive one booking confirmation yesterday; that was the exception that proves the rule, which is that some don’t get sent. Sorry, but it looks like the problem is at your end. everything else is fine over here…

I hope you’re doing well.

We sent you a response yesterday via the technical support channel, just in case you haven’t had a chance to see it yet.

Our engineers have reviewed the email logs and confirmed that notifications were successfully sent for your last three bookings on the 3rd, 5th, and 15th of April. Other bookings you received were at the beginning of March, which may have made it seem like you hadn’t received any recent messages from us.

Unfortunately, we’re only able to access email logs for a limited period, typically up to about a week, so we’re unable to verify the emails from March in detail.

So the engineers have to review the email-logs-reviewing-mechanism, which missed the fact that six confirmations weren’t sent in a way that they would get to me, even though one did get through, as mentioned before. Back in the very early days of computing, glitches like this were caused by insects getting stuck in a cog. We still have ‘bugs’, and I think you’ve got one!
